Thank goodness for snow
Two of my best friends from work and I tried to teach my dog how to pull one of us across the snow on an empty horse feed bag. We had a harness, and a sleigh-bell collar, and lots of enthusiasm, but the dog didn't do very well, even headed downhill. I suppose there's a reason why it takes 8 dogs to pull one person in a dog sled?
But even through the biting cold, the sun was shining, the air was clean, and we all had a great time. Especially when the dog tripped up my friend into a snow bank and licked his face for 3 minutes straight while we howled with laughter in the snow.
So "yeay" to maybe becoming a dog person after all, and to good friends, and to winter wonderlands, and to laughing so hard your face hurts and you can no longer move your arms.
Ben, JD, and Rudy pretending I don't exist.
Avi says "No more sledding! I will lick you into submission!"
